🦋 Entry 000 — The Mothkeeper’s Wing 🦋

Hidden within the upper glass corridors of the Haunted Conservatory rests the Mothkeeper’s Wing — a quiet archive devoted to the drifting moths, winged spirits & delicate pollinators that wander throughout the Haunted Botanical Gardens.

Moon dust gathers heavily here.

Glass specimen drawers line the shadowed walls beside preserved wings, handwritten observations & strange little lantern sketches documenting species rarely seen beyond the gardens after dusk.

Some moths serve as pollinators for impossible blooms.

Others appear only during specific moon phases before vanishing completely by morning.

A few are believed to carry fragments of memory within the shimmer dust gathered upon their wings.

The garden keeper continues documenting these wandering creatures carefully —
their migration patterns,
their curious attraction to lantern light,
the strange phenomena that follows certain wingbeats through the fog,
and the quiet emotional residue left behind after large swarms pass through the gardens at night.

Not every moth preserved within these archives is entirely physical.

Some exist only briefly.
Some appear only in reflections.
And some leave behind nothing but drifting shimmer and the feeling that something beautiful just disappeared moments before it could fully be seen.
