In the South corner of the Haunted Botanical Gardens drifts the Sleepy Hollows β a dreamlike resting place wrapped in fog, twilight & softly lingering spirits.
Here, the lanterns glow low beneath twisted branches while silver mist curls across the hollowed pathways and forgotten grave blooms sway gently in the evening air.
The gardens grow quieter here.
Even the wind whispers softly.

The Sleepy Hollows are home to wandering Nightmyres, drifting spirits & strange little creatures who seem to exist somewhere between dreaming and waking.
Some visitors believe time slows within the fog.
Others claim the Hollows gently blur the edges of memory, leaving behind only fragments of feeling by the time the lantern paths are crossed again.
A few have reported returning home with impossible things tucked quietly into their pockets β
a wilted bloom,
a lantern charm,
a handwritten field note they do not remember collecting.
Most discover these little curiosities days later.
None have explained where they came from.
π€
Deadly nightshades bloom freely throughout the Hollows, their roots winding carefully beneath ancient stones and sleeping earth.
Ghostly moths drift lazily through the mist, their wings dusted with pale shimmer that glows softly beneath the lantern light, while hush-colored familiars wander quietly beneath the willow branches and moonlit fog.
Some creatures appear only in reflections.
Others vanish completely if approached too quickly.
Nothing here feels rushed.
Nothing here feels entirely awake.
